“Fire door assemblies shall be inspected and tested not less than annually, and a written record of the inspection shall be signed and kept for inspection by the AHJ.” NFPA 80 2007 Edition; 5.2.1. The 2009 edition of NFPA 101 7.2.1.15 requires inspections of fire rated door assemblies as well as assemblies in the path of egress, regardless of rating. We can help.
