John K. Clancy, AOC, FDAI, AAADM, CSI, CDT Principal - Architectural Openings Consultants
John started his career in the Door & Hardware business as project manager of the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in 1997. In 1999, John founded Dorwin Systems, and later, Dorwin Installation, offering supply and installation services of doors, frames and hardware. Architectural Openings Consultant, Architectural Hardware Consultant, Certified Door Consultant and Electrified Hardware Consultant are among John's credentials. Under John's leadership, Dorwin Systems was among the first commercial door distributors in the nation to be certified under the Chain of Custody requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council; a critical LEED component. John is the Fire Door Inspection Program Manager for QAI Laboratories, an independent third party certification, testing and inspection organization. In addition, John is a licensed Annual Fire and Egress Door Inspector through the Door & Hardware Institute's FDAI program and a Certified Inspector of the American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers.
